Nick Capurro
President & Operations Manager
Nick Capurro graduated De La Salle High School and University California at Davis in 1989. While attending U.C Davis nick joined and worked for the San Francisco Carpenters Union. Upon graduating from U.C Davis with a B.A., Nick was awarded a commission in the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant, and started his active duty assignment at Fort Ord, Monterey as an Infantry Platoon Leader. In 1994 Nick achieved the rank of Captain and continued his service through 1998. From the mid 90’s to 2005 Nick worked in the retail service industry and tech sector with companies like Leer TAC, Pottery Barn and Starbucks, Remedy and Legato.
In 2006, merging his army, retail, banking and tech experiences, Nick became a certified licensed painting contractor with the California Licensing State Board (CSLB). In 2006, Nick purchased the franchise rights to Certapro Painters and on January 1, 2010 , Nick created his own company and brand.
Amber Capurro
Secretary & Color Consultant
Amber Capurro and Nick met in 2006. Shortly thereafter Amber began working for Nick in the painting business. Amber background consists of the theatrical arts specifically in dance and opera. As such, Amber spent many years in Europe and in Modena, Italy where the influences of that time and space created a passion for color, presentation and timeless beauty. Amber uses her creative process in assisting clients to find their passion and vision through color. We like to say she brings the paint store to the client, however, she is really bringing her flair for design and color to those in need. Sometimes it’s a nudge, sometimes a push but…always a consultative approach to helping clients achieve their color goals. No two houses are alike, and each client receives their own unique color palate.
